Andrew, Tomlin was as big a disappointment as I’ve seen at our club. Hugely talented, he could change a game whilst stood still with a magical pass. Sadly, he struggled with injuries and fitness, and whilst w most were angry with him for going missing so often when really needed, it now seems his body was declining rapidly through no fault of his own

I wish him well at Morcambe and hope they all come through this tough time!

I didn't like him when he was with us. Yes he had a few good moments but on the whole was lazy and argued with fans on social media.

But because Morecambe fans have had a horrible few months and nearly lost their club, I wish him well.

Just hope his work rate has improved.

Watch the goal and assist in this game. World class touches. If he had "the right attitude" then he wouldn't have ever played for us as his skillset was way above Championship.

Yes I can't see him being a good Manager. You need a strong positive attitude and good work rate, can't see either as a strength, I doubt he'll make any sort of success at it, but wish him good luck anyway.

Just read again, only assistant manager not as important then, more of a coaching role, maybe the start of something good for him then, time will tell if he has the work rate and can make something from it.

I like tomlin. Clearly a skilled player and is always very positive about us on his socials.

Another free loader wonder how he will manager those who dont keep.fit, drink , eat badly , like the safety of high wages ,big reputation,keen on the treatment table , if one keeps fit ,eat and behaviours well tends to deliver a full season commitment to the club and fans paying your wage .
