Front of goal, one shot
We need to improve this away from home as nearly never got the 3pts.

Would like to see us play with two up front away from home but doesn't seem to be a formation that BBM uses.
Substitutions always seem to be very much "like for like" but can't argue with the success so far.

I agree with you David, I would like to see two upfront.

I think the issue we’re going to have is we are a scalp.
Teams are going to set up to frustrate us, and stick 5 at the back because if they get a point from us it’s a fantastic result for them.
We need to try and come up with a way to break this down, and I don’t think two up top is the answer.
We’re crying out for some blistering pace. We get that, we frighten the life out of teams

I don't think we need 2 up front we dominated the game, I just think we need to stop over playing in and around the opposition box were always looking for that extra pass instead of having a shot at goal

Wimbledon knew we were going to be at them and out play them on the ball.
So they did their job of sitting back defending the box and making it awkward for us to get shots in and relying on a counter attack.
Pretty much as we have played in the past.
We played great football but to get the best of Salech he needs crosses into the box.
Aerial balls whether he heads them or pings them in and he'll be on the score sheet.
I also think Robinson can play sitting just behind him.
Feeding off any crosses headed from Salech or creating balls into the box for him.

So we’ve played 2 away games and drawn one and won one !! Yet people are questioning the formation that BBM plays, you couldn’t make it up.
Win your home games, draw your away games and you get automatically promoted, simple as that.
If you average 2 points a game you get promoted with ease and we’re ahead of that.
The time to question is when things aren’t going to plan. BBM wasn’t my choice but I can’t fault what he’s done so far and he’s winning me around much to my surprise !!

I think salec will have time in the next 2 games as they play same style today we have played 3/ 4 teams what i would describe as
"up and at em",
he may have a bit more space in the next 2 games.

Me too on bbm but never said he was sh.te just unproven, and after 10/12 games we can say either way so far he is in the 90% bracket.

Yes but two away games against teams who were two divisions below us last season and we've scored one goal in the 92nd minute of the second game!
Nobody is suggesting that the tactics aren't working because the table at the moment clearly shows that they are but the question is whether BBM can play in a different way if a different approach is needed on occasion.
I agree on BBM. Hope he can be flexible when he needs to be.

We had 72% possession in the final 3rd of pitch? Large portion of possession was outside the box that is the problem .. cannot score or have shot if ball hardly goes near goal... if look at Saturdays goals the two came from playing one twos inside penalty area and Salech from a corner! That highlights why one shot on target yesterday so few balls in penalty area

Luton might have a go, that could suit us if they leave gaps, we have the players to attack, we will need to take our chances, they beat us twice last year, so it will be a big test for the keeper and the boys at the back.

Plan A is working .
Plan B is plan A but faster and more aggressive.

We’re gonna get found out relatively quickly I think.
We’re the biggest club in the league and as others have pointed out, we’re a scalp.
Thankfully we’ve been relatively fortunate away so far – should have probably lost to Port Vale and then eventually got the goal at Wimbledon – especially when both teams have just come up from League Two.
Slightly concerning that we can’t seem to replicate how we play at home when we’re on the road, but then I suppose if we can relatively comfortably win our home games and scrape out points away, we should be fine to go up.
Luton will be the real test.

I must have fallen asleep when Wimledon scored those two late goals because i thought we won away.
Some of the doom and gloom is weird.

I think something some need to accept is you're not going to see a Warnock style game of two up front and constantly playing the ball long.
We will play this possession style all season and the manager will not change from that under any circumstances, even when we're chasing a game.
Some may call that stubborn, I wouldn't agree but it's a fair argument I guess.
I didn't ever see Wimbledon winning the game but I thought they defended very well against us. They look solid and won't concede many at home.
The late goal was key not just because of the extra two points, but it was a game we deserved to win. I think if we'd have been given the clear penalty early on then it would have been more plain sailing.
But this win is crucial. It take a bit of pressure off for what is a very tough game on Saturday. I still think Luton will win the league.
