Duo face fight to be fit for Luton

Pery Ng and Alex Robertson are fighting to be back fit for tomorrow's clash with Luton Town, however both are likely to be fit in time for Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie.

Ng suffered a knee injury on the first day of pre-season training, while Robertson was injured in the final pre-season game against Notts County after he was caught up in a bad tackle by an opponent at Meadow Lane.




BBM INJURIES:

Providing an injury update following Ollie Tanner’s first-half withdrawal against the Dons, Brian added: “Ollie’s damaged ligaments in his ankle and there’s a small fracture in his fibula, so we expect he’s out of action for four months.

"We’ll have a meeting with a specialist in the next few days and decide on an exact course of treatment from there.

“Perry [Ng] and Alex [Robertson] are getting closer. If not for Saturday then on Tuesday I hope they’ll be ready for selection.

"How much time they can play over those games will be assessed over the coming days, but we expect them in full training over today and tomorrow.”

We'll have to be at our best to get a result there.
As a guess, I think we are due to leak a couple of goals, so it's a matter of whether we can score two or more.
2-2 maybe, but I fear a defeat for this one.

Could go either way to be honest would be happy with a point but suppose its these types we have to beat to build confidence, probably one of the strongest in the league so a good win would do us the world of good, if we can stay second all season Ill be happy, though tbh the atmosphere at away games is so much better than Championship

I think we will struggle here and lose 1-0. They won't allow us to dominate possession like we have the last 2 games.

I'm normally a positive voice on here but I think we'll lose this one.

Luton are still my pick to win the league and I think they'll have too much.

As long as we don't get thrashed by 3+, I'll accept that.

The good thing about the late goal last night is it takes a bit of pressure off.

I said before last night that I'd have been satisfied with three points from those two away games.

So a draw on Saturday and I'll be very pleased.

But I see Luton winning.

I think Luton have been quite poor so far this season and this could be a good time to play them

They won't sit in and defend they will come at us which will play into our hands a bit, I feel we're stronger when we break fast rather than trying to break down a low block with 10 men behind the ball

I would be happy with a point but feel we could actually pinch this one I'm going 2-0 cardiff

If we start Turnbull and don’t bring on either Chambers or Willock then we have a good chance.

This game will be our biggest test to date - Both Clubs were fancied to go back up before the season started .

Lovely cross near the end to Robinson who headed over the bar from a few feet out, Salech would have loved to be on the end of that.

If he does then Willock needs to start producing quick time.

Almost certainly willock will replace tanner I think.

I would like chambers in midfield. He was brilliant for us last season and we need his experience

we have nearly lost 17 players and 1 in playing 7 academy players since the start of the season.

Of those that have left, the only one most fans are bothered about is O'Dowda.

We've kept all our other key players. That's probably what the Luton fans were getting at.

Whereas they and Plymouth lost some key players.

Plus our squad needed to be cut anyway, it was far too big.

Manager Matt Bloomfield took over at Luton Town in January of 2025, from Wycombe Wanderers, where he'd spent most of his professional footballing career.

Bloomfield began his managerial career with Colchester United in 2022, but returned to Adams Park within six months, after Gareth Ainsworth's switch to QPR.
