Referee rating

Apologies, was meant to do this for all league games but didn't on Saturday.

What would you mark tonight's referee out of ten?

I'm saying 2. The worst one yet.

I've seen four refs at this level omg they not even close awful including Cup game we will have to win games without them

Absolutely shocking. I was generous and gave him a 3. Haven't seen decent officials this season, worrying.

With that in mind, and the fact he didn’t find a way to cancel our winner, I gave him 7/10 for League One!

Appalling, getting small decisions wrong is one thing, but the big decisions?
1. Deffo pen.... Ref was right in front of me and he was speaking to the lino who also had a mare. Through the back of the player, scissors... what more can you ask?
2. Joel taken out as he ran across the edge of the box, nothing.
3. Two occassions corners given late in game where clearly, there was no Cardiff touch.

Reffing has been consistently terrible so far we've had 3 nailed on pens turned down and one given against us which definitely wasn't... Although we did get bailed out with the offside goal in port vale

What you've said, plus the ref didn't seem to know the basics rules like choosing to stop the game when their player went down. Nobody touched him, he just went down because he couldn't get back in time to stop our counter attack.

The ref stopped the game when it wasn't a head injury. Again, the Wimbledon player just went down time wasting and the ref stopped the game.

The worst was when their keeper came up at the end. We had an open goal ahead of us and the ref decided to stop the game for a foul instead of playing advantage. The ref knew what he was doing.

Missing the penalty was inexcusable and I'm wondering if it was a handball before we hit the post too. He would have been ready to disallow the goal if it went in. It reminded me of Keith Stroud at Millwall years ago when Bamba was in mid swing to score and he blew up to stop the goal and cheat us.

Given the ref a 1 and hope we never have him again.

Every big decision refs have got wrong. We've benefited from this at times, but yesterday we didn't.
