DOMINANT CITY WIN

VERY HAPPY WITH THAT
City totally dominated most of the game but struggled to break down a good Wimbledon defence until the end.
Then Isaak Davies popped up and gave us three big points

As the game went on, Wimbledon had chances from set pieces but nothing that seriously troubled Trott until he made a massive save late on.
But we also couldn't test their keeper much.
It was much much better than Port Vale which I was happy about.
We should have had a penalty early on.
But we need to work on big chance creation in these away games.
There are things to work on still.
But it's another clean sheet and another win.

Great away win in the end when it looked like we could lose it but thankfully it went our way. 3 vital points

Deserved the win but made hard work of it, dominated the 1st half without creating too many chances. Denied a penalty in the 1st 5 mins.
2nd half more even after the subs were made.
66% possession we need to be creating more chances.
3 points, onto the next 1

Happy with the result but we should be having more shots on target than 1 & still seem to be having trouble doing much in the final third of the pitch. Would have been happy with a draw there but a win is much nicer.

Great win, pity Stevenage came back from 1-0 down to Port vale with two late Goals to go Top, otherwise we would be top tonight

Great write up Ned
I agree more work to do and BBM needs to be backed

Promotion will need a few of these ones.
Great effort all.
Tanners injury worries me. So does Willock being the replacement.
Back 5, Wintle and Rubin all played very well.

Still get scared every time a set piece comes into our box!

I don't rate wintle he's really slow and mostly passes backwards I'm hoping for a middle field general before window closes mind you I think we will go with what we got until jan it's pretty obvious I really hope I'm wrong because we need reinforcements

The 1-0s away on a Tuesday night, can be vital
Very important to get a good start after being relegated and we have
Not easy against a newly promoted team with momentum
Well played

Also shout out to trott tonight great with the ball at his feet and from where I was stood looked like he pulled off a great save at the death to tip the ball round the post to preserve the clean sheet

I thought Wimbledon’s CB’s played really well. And 5 across the back. Gutted for Tanner, he is looking so confident. Thankfully Willock put a shift in.

Seems daft to say when all three of our subs played a part in the winner, but I thought their changes seemed to work better than ours.
Not sure what’s going on with ID at the moment, he looks hesitant to open up and use his pace. A couple of times he had their wingback 1v1 and didn’t look to take him on.
Robinson and Willock both look so short on confidence. That cross from Willock and the header from CR summed it up really.
Trott has already pulled off save of the season, and I thought Bagan was outstanding, especially defensively. He stopped a certain goal when their 9 was through.
It was a big improvement on the Port Vale game, but we still need to show more quality in the final third.
Luton will be far more attacking, so our defence will have a huge test but that should also give our attackers more space to work with.

Fantastic result.
Made a bit of a meal of it but a Riza side wouldn't have won that and may not have even got a point.
Just hope we bring in 2 or 3 extra bodies coz we lack that strength in depth.

Wimbledon fans seem to be bigging us up online
a lot of them saying we are bar far the best team they played so far
bare in mind they've played Luton
some saying they haven't played a team this good in years
feels strange hearing other fans praising our football

Work to do in that these players are NOT going to make it each week to the rest of the season - Back the Manager.
We don't have to spend money on a fee - Get these loans in - " THE SIDE SHOW " Is Over
