Harsh to drop Turnbull but otherwise like that.
Good options on the bench.

Unless it’s rotation or resting I’d say it was a ridiculous decision.

Got agree on that

Dumbfounded on Turnbull being dropped cannot believe it has he lost his marbles??

Perhaps he needs a rougher guy in midfield Joe is a scrapper turnbull is tidy but a more pretty plsyer

Looks like a tactical change go for an attacking lineup what better than to have Turnbull come on to stiffen defence later in game? Can't do it other way around ... it of course could go pear shaped but that's a risk coaches get paid to take....Great comes of bad I'd doesn't

Right team, apart from turnbull being dropped.
He might have picked up a knock??
It can’t be rotation, 3 games into a season.

Maybe wants Turnbull fresh for Luton.

Strange decision to drop Turnbull unless he's carrying a strain or something after Saturday.
Joel is a promising player but still inexperienced.
I hope the manager has made the right call here!

Starting 3 games in a week is probably to much for turbull with his hamstrings so playing it safe and giving him a rest, sensible decision as Joel Colwill is an adequate replacement

That’s fair enough.

Andrew I forgot we had Luton Saturday, that is a big game

Probably sees Luton tougher than Wimbledon- so keeping him for Saturday.

I'm sure there's a sensible reason for dropping Turnbull to the bench without it just being tinkering, we can't be running players into the ground just for having the same side every game.

Didn't turnbull miss a part of pre season? Maybe not up to 3 games in a week yet
Tue Aug 19, 2025 6:13 pm
Surprised to see Turnbull out, but there’s probably a reason we don’t know about, just like Bagan on Saturday.
Glad he’s trying to keep the same teams as much as possible, all our most successful managers have done that.
Skolsjaer and Riza used to drive me insane with their needless changes

Joel will cover more distance than Turnbull, that’s why I think he’s done it.
Tue Aug 19, 2025 6:25 pm
Perhaps he is looking for his best eleven , seeking variation based on opposition, wants to see how the youngster.
Turnbull had a long term injury and has had long spells out only got back at the end of last season .
He is also similar to Wintle .
I feel sorry for Eli King as well.
Lots of midfield options.

Yes Rog. You’re right

Happy with this team and feel that Turnbull is being brought back gently after his recent injury!
Wintle is a good replacement, so I have confidence we will do well tonight!
Smart management of his players, is how I see it, and in BBM we trust!

This ref is poor what I can see tonight. Missed a load of fouls already, especially the Joel colwill pull back when we broke with Tanner
