The most dominant of any team so far - but opponents poor

I'm calling this the most dominant win of any team so far this season in the EFL.

Rotherham didn't get anywhere near Cardiff.

Even ignoring the scoreline, statistically this was a joke in terms of both chance creation and control. Rotherham had only one shot in the whole game which was well saved when it was already 3-0.

So either Cardiff are phenomenal or Rotherham are really poor and I'm saying that Cardiff are good but Rotherham are poor, I'm really concerned about them.

Cian Ashford is one of these Cardiff kids that's looking really exciting. He's an old school ball carrier, great finish for the goal. He's similar to a Stanley Matthews type.

This was ironically men against boys, but it was the boys that dominated the men.

I imagine in job interviews across the land, 90% of managers say they'll use the academy players. But they'll say "if they're good enough, I'll play them". They use that last bit as an excuse not to play them.

But you don't know if they're good enough until they play. You can't just give them an opportunity off the bench or in the cup, because they need a few consecutive games. That's when you see the growth in young footballers.

Barry-Murphy though is walking the walk on that front. Leaving out senior players like Callum Robinson. Such a young back line too.

Fair comments I think. Rotherham were dreadful and it was a total mismatch.

No taking away from them it was a good performanace.

The best part for me is the why we closed out the game when 3-0 up. Yes it was the only chance then when Rotherham got their one shot on target but that was going to happen in this sport.

We worked hard to get the lead and continues that work rate going into the second half where we got our just deserts with the 2 extra goals. After that insteaqd of taking our foot off the gas we sort of took a bit off iit off but kept hold of the ball to see the game out.
