But then again, I say it every season; more in hope than expectation!

If we don’t have ‘ambition’, what do we have? And what else would be the point?

Like you, I have put my faith in BBM and his young squad, and with a few strengthening additions, I also think we will be up there fighting for promotion come this season’s end; and anything else would be a major disappointment/let down

Spot nothing less than Promotion this season, we are playing some very very small clubs week in week out.

Nevertheless, if we do manage promotion with hardly any new signings and offloading many of the squad in the summer, it would be quite an achievement!

Anything less than promotion would be a disaster, and BBM needs support right now. He’s proved what he’s capable of, but this squad is simply too thin to sustain a promotion push without four or five reinforcements. The season is long, injuries will come, and without backing, we risk throwing away a golden opportunity. Back him, and promotion is there for the taking.

Great post and I totaly agree if we get 3 or 4 quality players in then maybe that's my thinking if not the I just can't see it as he's not being backed for a push in my opinion.

Ambition is critical as Dylan Thomas once said

Cardiff City Stadium needs to become a fortress with sides not looking forward to coming to us, need a good run of home results something we have been starved of for years. Sides have been coming to us looking to take 3 points per game and disappointed leaving without a point.

Away we need to take something out of every game, yes we will loose a few but I’m confident we will also win more than we will loose
