Will that encourage Tan to back BBM ?

Sat Aug 16, 2025 10:52 pm

Of course it will, he wants to go up, BBm can now ask the questions, and Tan is under pressure to provide the funds, we'll see a few new decent faces soon :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Probably the opposite.

Tan will see us second in the table and expect BBM to keep us there all season, believing the squad will be good enough as it is.
.
Remember, after all these years of owning the club Tan still doesn't know his arse from his elbow.

I think he'll back him as long as he stays within the limits, thats why 14 have gone with a few more to go.

Agree with you, Sam. Tan has gambled on BBM being successful with our (mainly) existing players, whilst on a shoe-string

I believe other players will come in this next week or so, but they will be mainly, if not all, smart loans and may require other players going out on loan or sale (Daland and Horvath are two with a couple of possible ‘sales’ to come)

That was my first thoughts on reading it too.

By backing him he will allow some extra wage budgets to get free's and loans in. Thats Tans backing at mo I believe

Ye that’s exactly how I see it mate, daland the 2 keepers maybe can’t see Alnwick being happy that he’s gone from number 1 to number 3 personally,Willock maybe?chambers?could Robinson or Robertson go to?

We will know in two weeks. I'm sure it will be mostly loans from BBM's contacts at other clubs, but I think we will see some quality players coming in.

All the results and performances will do is encourage tan to stay! He wants another promotion he's stated that previously.... I've said previously the consortiums should have taken risk and paid tan what he wanted tan took risk not selling cheaply and now it will cost more to buy club as I believe city could do what Ipswich did and have two promotions....will he
Back bbm upto a point probably but won't need a lot to enhance this team
