" A statement victory "

Sat Aug 16, 2025 3:56 pm

That was a real sign of what we can do in this league.

The passing game was spot on.

Rubin, Salech, Turnbull, Ashford and Kpakio outstanding.

A statement performance that we have to follow up.

Of course it changes nothing in terms of transfers, we still need some. But a sign of what the players we have can do.

Rotherham were poor but maybe we made them look poor.

The sort of win we needed.

Brilliant day.

I thought we were great today and are we finally turning the ccs in to the fortress it should be, we're 3 from 3 there this season

I'm looking forward to going to Wimbledon Tuesday where we can hopefully get the 3 points to give us the 10 from the 12 I was hoping for in the first 4 games

Keep the faith with bbm some of us been saying for weeks he's the real deal, onwards and upwards!!!

Thought the first half except the goal we only really had a shot which was saved and the goal from the corner, 2nd half we was the best I've seen keeping the ball for along time although Rotherham are awful but you can only play who's Infront of you and we made them look bad.

Abit to much over playing the ball at times rather than a simple cross in the box where we had 3 or 4 at times moving around but kept cutting it back and then across the field sideways which repeated alot. But today I was impressed with the way we played and an easy 3 point's in truth :bluescarf:

Yeah I agree with a lot of that. Second half was much better, I think the Salech goal calmed us down.

The passing game really impressed me.

It was a great move for Rubin's goal.

Definitely. We should of had a pen to full stop although we should of also been down to ten men before they subbed him. The kid had a mare in every way he was getting pushed of the ball , couldn't control it, giving it away and everything but all part of learning :bluescarf:

Agree with all said so far. Only thing I would add that impressed me is that when we gave the ball away, we won it back immediately. Shows the intent and desire.

Just got home best game i have seen in years,
not because of the win but style of play and press and so glad chambers did not play we look so much better without him,
putting his foot in the ball like Bobby Moore not needed get some money off wrexham for him

Total contrast to our previous league game and also against a stronger club.

I'm not getting carried away yet. I'll wait to its all settled down and see how everything balances out. However we are on target to avoid relegation.
