MY VIEW: RAMPANT CARDIFF WERE AT THEIR BEST TODAY AGAINST ROTHERHAM AND DESERVED THE 3PTS IN THE CCS:

Cardiff were from the first minute the better team and always in control.

Well and truly Deserved their Win.

VERY HAPPY TONIGHT

Disappointment in the Crowd being down 17,555 undefeated

Man of the match for me was Turnbull, created 2 of our goals and continued to create for us.

Captain Chambers was dropped to Sub’s bench?

Makes his league debut Mafico starts , who is 19 yrs old in a few months, Lawlor was in for Captain Chambers.

Mafico outmsucled a few times by Gore. Couple of times that's happened to the youngster today.

35th min Mafico off, Bagan on, we were getting done. Magnificent response from City fans for the lads efforts.
He gave his all.

43 - Yousef Salech powers City ahead from Turnbull's corner kick! Great header! (1-0) :bluebird:

FIRST-HALF: Cardiff were by far the better side and deserved their lead by Salech.

Turnbull was for me the best player the first-half.

SECOND-HALF:

55th min: GOAL! Cardiff City 2-0 Rotherham United (Ashford 55)

Great finish from the 20-year-old. Ashford plays it in to Turnbull, who plays it back to the City academy product and he whips it into the corner with his weaker foot from just inside the area.

61st min:GOAL! Cardiff City 3-0 Rotherham United (R. Colwill 61)
And another! Rubin taps home from a couple of yards out.
Zak Jules with a poor pass, intercepted by Ashford. He feeds Salech who then slots through a fantastic ball to the back post and Colwill taps into an empty

81st Min:
Robinson on, Salech off.

Davies on, Ashford off.

J. Colwill on, R. Colwill off.

City continued to look for more goals.

CARDIFF CITY 3 ROTHERHAM 0

Cardiff: Trott; Kpakio, Fish, Lawlor, Mafico; Wintle, Turnbull, R. Colwill; Tanner, Salech, Ashford.

Subs: Turner, Bagan, Chambers, J. Colwill, Davies, Willock, Robinson.

Probably our best performance so far, especially second half.

Pleased because Rotherham are a physical team like Port Vale, but we did ten times better than we did in that game.

Another test on Tuesday at Wimbledon but I'm just going to enjoy this performance and win. Very impressed - we outplayed them.

I agree Ned,

As we were Solid at the back and look good in all departments and won it very easily
Very happy :bluebird:

Absolutely outstanding performance today. And can't see where ANYONE can complain about it today but someone will

To be fair, I'm sure everyone will be happy with today.

Port Vale was frustrating and I do understand why some were so unhappy with it.

But we went a long way to putting that right today.

I think what people need to realise is that this is such a young squad not every game will be great like today and there will be more performances like the port Vale game this season

People just need to stop over reacting to each and every result good or bad and sit back and look at the bigger picture

Are we improving on last season

Have we gotten rid of all the over paid old mercenarys that filled our squad last season

Are we now seeing our academy finally showing it's worth by providing the first team with exciting youngsters

The answer for me is yes and I for one am happy with the direction we are heading in and a poor performance away from home now and again will not throw me into an absolute melt down proclaiming the end of the world like some do

The only dark cloud on an otherwise sunny horizon are the 3 clowns who continue to try there best to ruin all the good that is happening at the moment and getting them away from the club ASAP should be a top priority

I put a lot down to chambers not playing trying to be Bobby Moore with his foot on the ball slowing the whole game down happy for him to go to wrexham so much better without him best game I have seen in years
