Vote your Man of the Match versus Rotherham United @ home on Saturday 16th August 2025
Hard to call this one, because there were so many good performances out there!
Felt for young Magico, who tried hard but was caught out a little and it was the right decision by BBM to take him off in the first half. I’m sure he’ll learn and come again though
As I said, a tough decision today, and I added Bluebird manager Brian Barry-Murphy for his brave tram selection today, but ultimately, I give my vote to Cian Ashford for
THAT goal alone!

Yes I think Ashford just about M of M.
The attack looked well balanced and they all closed down and worked hard.

Turnbull

Turnbull for me today, I've said it a few times but he has that little bit of vision to see a pass our other midfielders don't
If he can find some consistency and stay fit he's gonna be huge for us this season

Turnbull.
Showed today that he's too good for this league. Always made the right passing decisions and was on the front foot.

Ashford for me great goal and the 3rd was all down to him too, Turnbull 2nd choice and almost all of them had good games

Turnbull without a doubt

I thought a number of outstanding performances again today which is great to see. Hopefully home games is turning into a fortress again and away form can become close to it.
Mom I think was fish thought he steadied us at back played some lovely cross field passes. And looked great partnership with lawlor.
Ashford Turnbull kpakio and lawlor all high contenders imo too

Turnbull just ahead of tkapia

Turnbull was a class above today

All played well today. Turnball was class, Rubin worked his socks off, Tanner and Ashford good down the wings, Fish and Lawlor very assured at the back. Kpakio gets it for me though, barely put a foot wrong, looked like a player with 200+ appearances under his belt.

Lee, good call!
So many good performances today and that makes a refreshing change!

Many candidates today.
I am seeing a different side to Rubin this season.
He works so hard closing players down almost all match.
We know he has the silky skills, but I think we'll see plenty of goals from him also, as he works so much harder to get on the end of crosses and through balls.
Again, my vote goes to him.

I thought Ashford was quiet 1st half but better 2nd half, great finish for the goal and did well to get to the loose ball 1st for the 3rd. Hopefully that will give him some confidence going forward.

I went with Tanner. Thought his tracking back was brilliant yesterday, made some good tackles. Trying alot harder than last year.
