I am not bothered at all by the current lack of business, be

We have done the main thing, kept very key players, we could have easily let go, we are nowhere near the problems of many clubs. This simply shows we don’t need to sell at any cost.

For me it’s a great sign we have kept what we have, amazing in fact with 4 or 5 of them. most of what we let go, is no big deal and would have been BBM call. Also, on the ones staying.

We will secure good loan players, bring players in to add to this, we all know there is loads going on in the market and nothing is simple at this stage, the manager talks sense.

It looks bad with the outs to the incoming, but we have kept real quality, and we will add 3 or 4 loans before deadline day I am sure, and sign permanently a couple if makes sense.

I am impressed we are doing all possible to keep what we have left, Rubin and CO.

I think we will be fine, and the signings will come later in the window, when clubs have sorted their business.

We will win tomorrow also, and at least get a point on Tuesday, and be ok this season, tactics etc.. are work in progress.

At this stage not worried at all, by the end of the window, think more will be pleased. :bluebird:

I do broadly agree.

I mean, we obviously need a minimum of three new players - I accept that.

I hope the Osho rumour is true because CB is clearly a priority.

The majority of my optimism comes from my high opinion of the manager, but he does need additions.

Fair point.

However.....

In the same way as many are saying that we need to wait until the window closes to see who we bring in there is also the possibility that some of the quality players you refer to may still be sold before the window closes.

The squad when the window closes could look quite different to how it does today and not just because of new arrivals.

I have seen Ned’s posts, been reading the forum since it started etc.. and know he fully backs BBM. this year.

This is just my view if we had sold, Salech, Robertson, R Colwill, Callum Robinson, looking to also sell Turnbull, Davies, and Ashford.. I would think holly sxxx what a mess, the fact we have them, and it seems looking to build a squad around these adding younger players like Kpakio, Lawlor, Joe Colwill, etc..

I really am not bothered it’s a good sign at least for this season.

We do need a fresh start and new investment moving forward, many clubs do, but pleased we have done this, if we don’t go up this year, and Tan does not invest next year, it will be a real mess for sure, but as it stands, not worried about the lack of singings they will come before deadline day, and no doubt some exciting young players from premier league teams.

If Tan does not sell, going up this season is a must, easier said than done, but not disappointed with who we have kept for the fight. was my point, shows we are not in a real mess yet. :bluebird:

Totally get from where you are coming from its exactly what I've been thinking all window. Obviously it's scary to think if we lost a BIG asset then we would be seriously impacted. But out of current 1s I'm bit gutted by odowda as I think he is still able to offer. Which shows as playing CL all be it in a strange league as such. Ralls and rino I do like but can understand the reasons for them being allowed to leave.
A few signings would be good if it is as said 1st team basically straight in or at least competitive
