BBM has made the following statements :


(1) “The support from the Board has been constant and I’ve been very happy with it.”


(2) “We are looking to bring Exceptional Quality”…. Players that can go into the 1st team straight away.”

(3) He also clearly admitted that the decision to release or sell players is not down to him at all (meaning Tan decides) ….and he clearly mentions Daland , Horvath and Alnwick …..and of course before them O’ Dowda and Ralls .

It is clear that any player on high(ish) wages - Tan wants out . The order of the day and priority is to have a low budget .



So BBM is putting his head on the line and taking responsibility , because he says that he is well backed by Tan and that he only wants “exceptional quality”.



Please someone tell me how the hell are we going to get exceptional quality …..when we have no real money to spend ( except if we sell first - eg O’Dowda….and that is even doubtful). How can we attract exceptional quality when we are in the 3rd division ?


If we are buying experienced exceptional quality ….we need millions ….so that appears to be out.


That leaves exceptional young PL players .. on loan . But such players they and their clubs would prefer Championship clubs ….or even lesser PL clubs . Moreover , such players known to be of exceptional quality will attract a big loan fee plus big wages.




My point is that I respect and admire BBM’s confidence that he can get such players and for taking full responsibility because he says that the Board (Tan) is backing him.

However is he delusional and talking bullshit ..and possibly deceiving himself and us ? Will he deliver what he promises?


Everyone , in the main, agrees that we need 4 players to strengthen the team.


Will BBM deliver ?

I have never seen so much divisive statements made on here and so many insults being thrown back and for.
Because of the lack of information and more so truth from the three clowns we are all at each others throats.
We will continue to suffer until Tan and the two stooges are gone.

as you know there are those that believe he will get what he said he would ,
but logic tells you unless you spend big quality does not come cheap .
had a belly full of trying to explain that but some have there fingers in there ears,
who in there right mind would want to send even there top quality kids to play in a division where the only thing you would learn is hoofball and how to dodge that crunching tackle on a pretty boy.

They want there kids to learn the way they play week in week out that's fair enough under a manager that does that,
and murphy wants to play the right way but I am sure there best will be either sent to prem clubs and championship clubs and very fringe prospects in our division .
We will just have to see what happens regarding the next pele ,but this transfer window has' nt happened for us yet,
Wait now for the usual what a negative post bla bla reality it's called.

Unfortunately I only expect 2 loans late in the window due to the useless clowns running the show

What I do believe in is bbm,s ability to make the best of a bad situation and still feel we will be around the top 6

What we need now more than ever is for the fans to stop bickering amongst ourselves and get behind bbm and the kids as they will need us

I also believe fan action against the board needs to step it up a notch we really need to make the ccs a really hostile place for any of the board should they have the nerve to show there faces

Correct, and he has done f.ck all for us apart from the first few games when he first came and then has gone backwards since and does not want to be here this season.

Well there's one thing for sure, he will be judged on how good the players he brings in are.

I support him but he can't blame anyone else because of the things he's said in press conferences.

I think like the majority of the people on here , we need an experienced centre half to help with our flimsy defence , someone who knows this league

If he says he can get that quality then he will need to deliver, let’s see at the end of the window.

Let’s just hope we can continue to get wins, regardless of how we play, points mean prizes.

Agreed, Tan is his boss at the end of the day he's going to tow the company line, that's not a knock on him it's what everyone has to do

I can't believe people are already calling him a puppet, ffs people give the guy a chance.

the difference with bbm is that he's not accepting tan and dalmans choices for transfers otherwise we'd now be stuck with more duds. time will tell if he gets the quality he's talking about but until then I think we should stop f*cking whining about every f*cking thing.

I bought an Audi Q3 S-line for 32k a few months back money upfront 6k miles on the clock and all the cover on it.

Next week im going to buy a 51 plate Audi that's battered and been abused with 120k miles on the clock for £600 then pay it over 12 months.

There is no comparison you can't get good with no money. Baffles me what's going on at the club cost cut one minute and then we told from the coach we are getting such standard of players in.

It's either one or the other, either way we will see if anyone actually comes in. He's not being backed clearly as im sure he has a list of players who could field over this team he would like which ain't the mangers fault but he's not helping himself with such wording of what's coming in apparently.

Just say we are going with what we got and maybe a few youngsters if we can afford them id except that over bullshit.
