Brian Barry-Murphy:
"If you look at the Port Vale game for example, a lot of our players wouldn't have experienced that before.
But the likes of Ronan Kpakio and Dylan Lawlor haven't experienced much of Championship football either.
Rotherham have a lot more experienced players, the opposite to us. Probably getting towards the last of my former teammates playing, but there are former teammates of mine in their squad.
They'll have a plan to give us a test that they think we can't cope with.
We have to show we've improved since Port Vale and these steps are important for the whole season."

IMO it's not, they rely on it more as it's the cheapest attribute to winning.
The higher you go in the football pyramid, the more you expect the players to be 8, 9 or 10 out of 10 in skill, strength, pace, stamina, mental, experience and physical soundness.
A Warnock team is packed with pace, strength, and mental strength, but so is a Pep team; he also has higher-skilled players.
In L1 we are an inexperienced, skilled team with a quicker sqaud than last year, we are not small except at centre halfs which is a problem.
Previously, Kpakio and Lawlor would have gone out on loan to learn the men's game, but they are doing it on the job now.
Hopefully, we can move Daland or Chambers on so we can get a bit of beef back there.

Knowing a couple of players who have played in our current division and premier league They both have told me that the premier league is far more physical than the other leagues.
The players on the whole are bigger stronger and quicker.
We all can see the skill level is higher when you go up the division , but let’s not be distracted and think division lower down are more physical

I don't think it's any more or less than the Championship (the Championship was/is brutal); I just think we've lost some of our 'tougher' players and we're lacking an enforcer.
Sean Morrison keeps popping up in other posts. Imagine him in the box as an opposition defender attacking our goal for a corner - he's got a free hit with our back 4 currently. I'd love to see someone like him/Hudson/Flint/Anthony Gerrard type defender who's been around a bit and is a bit of a unit or gets stuck in.
The gent who had 3 free headers for Port Vale was marked by Wintle: that's just bad management and decision making. Pull Salech back to defend if needed.
NG will help as he knows the dark arts. Robertson will also help as he's dominated this division once and has a chunk of a season in the championship ahead.
