WREXHAM PUSHING THE BOAT OUT

Thu Aug 14, 2025 6:39 pm

10 million for Nathan broadhead i like the player but that seems steep, but with Moore out perhaps they have to pay to secure a striker.
Wish tan would give us 10 million to spend on recruits.

Ipswich have had Wrexham's pants down there.

Broadhead is a decent player but not worth £10m.

It he's worth that, Salech is worth £20m - and I wouldn't normally say Salech is worth that much.

I would agree that they have overpaid there, a little bit of panic buying from them & apparently the fans are upset about it.

That's a crazy amount to pay for an average championship player, Ipswich laughing all the way to the bank with that one

Salech is worth close to 20 if that's the kind of transfers going around

Apparently only 1 year left on his contract I can imagine Ipswich are pissing themselves.

I like Broadhead as a player but if we paid £10m for him I’d be mortified !!

He’s £3-5m max.

Wrexham need to be careful about paying such big fees that they simply cannot recoup.

It's 10m but t hat includes add ons? Why the sudden fascination with putting add ons into deal?
Use to be just the fee
Anyway its far to much for him and 4yr deal.!

Don't forget Ipswich is a former premier league side so they can afford to get every penny for 1 of there best players.
sadly we fans will probably never see tan again in the stadium whether he sells our club or not.
im glad wrexham is trying to buy big players for a chance to get to the premier league.

You're too obsessed with Welsh players.

Money they're getting is irrelevant and it's an inflated fee.

They have parachute payments and are selling Omari Hutchinson for £37.5m.

This is a bad deal for Wrexham, despite your obsession with Welsh football.

With more than 30m in income as well as efl payments they can afford a bit of extravaganza but got to be worth the money not sure broadhead is!

Agree that it seems a lot but I think 10 million is the headline figure and dependant on a lot of add ons. Probably not much more than half that figure if they aren't activated.

They've spent (roughly) £21Million this summer, with no sales.

Surely this is a time-bomb, financially?

£10M is about twice the price I'd have wanted to pay for Broadhead. 23 goals in 84 appearances is 2 goals more than Robbo for us (Robbo has scored 21 in 85 for us); as comparable as you'll get to one of ours I'd say. Seems inflated to me...
