Kion Etete once again:

Thu Aug 14, 2025 3:08 pm

Cardiff come up against Kion Etete's Rotherham United this weekend, however the striker of course will be unable to play against his parent club.

Etete, who is in fact injured anyway, signed a two-year deal at Cardiff before being loaned out to Bolton Wanderers in the second half of last season, however he endured a torrid time with the Trotters.

Etete a few months ago was given an unbelievable New 2 Year Contract by The Transfer Committee.

Poor from the club, he has struggled after a promising start, injuries have hampered him but a bad decision to give a two year contract to an injury prone out of form player.

Scott,

That’s why the Hierarchy really worry me ,they decide to many things regarding our players coming and going

For me these are managers decisions.

Agree mate. I believe that has changed under BBM with him saying no and wanting his own players.

We all want tan out of the club and gone, but for now we need to pull together and get behind the team we have.

Sooner or later tan won’t be here, and we will be run properly.

Can't see him ever playing for us again, especially if this manager stays long term.

I remember Media Wales making a big deal about him signing from Spurs when he first came in, even though he never played for the first team at Spurs.

He's just been a constant disappointment unfortunately.
