Daland, potentially now unavailable anyway, Wintle possibly out, Fish possibly out....... If they play injured, they risk being long term absentees. If they are out now, when we have little cover and a wafer thin squad of kids then already we are going to struggle.
NG and Robertson already out.
Only an absolute fool of an owner, and moreso fool of a Chairman, would think we are equipped for any form of a successful season!

This is the one worry I have and the reason we need to bring players in
If we could just play the same 11 week in week out we would have a successful season, sadly that's not how football works and injuries and suspensions will be the one thing that derails us this season unless the clown show act fast and back bbm

Yes very worrying in my view, but I might be called being negative for saying so.

It is worrying, but gives our youngsters a chance to impress. Which is what we have wanted for years.
King in for wintle. Lawlor to start again.
Even push Bagan into centre half move chambers into cdm and start Giles.
Still plenty of options.

We will have to, this may push the pace a bit for some recruits next week, but if they are not better than we have wait a bit and use the youth, we need to get these signings right.

I'm not worried at all I'm sure there's a few 5ft 10 inch center halfs or midfielders who are around 19, built like skinny Kenyan marathon runners, got the power 6 year old to shake off an experienced pro on other teams even if its there first game or games. We all know BBM and the club have said quality signings are coming before the window shuts plenty of time left yet ( maybe two windows time with a new owner though) .
Let's stop being negative you can only say it's all Rosey on here you should know this

Agree with that mate, and if our youngsters aren’t good enough then I’d rather a few prem loans (Man City)

We are unbeaten so I’m happy, or am I not allowed to be positive about our start.
What experience do you want also? Name me some players as all I see is we need more experience, yet not one single suggestion? I’m intrigued as to what players people want in.

cannot win with this forum
youngsters - should never be sent out on loan, they need to play
play the youngsters - they aren't ready, they aren't good enough we need signings
sign someone - we just buy unwanted players from other clubs, they're a waste of money, they are poor signings
manager says i want specific players - this is the owners fault

And Div 3 We end up and our debt rising , I agree shocking
We sent for years players to Non League and Welsh League / NOT ONE PLAYER MADE IT IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR US.
Your totally right

Bit of an overreaction.
All he said was there would be checks on Fish and Wintle. That's normal after a game. No big deal.
We knew Ng would miss the start of the season.
Robertson had a terrible tackle on him.
No major drama.

Looking forward to seeing King get a start, interested to see what he can do. Seen some lovely long deep passes in front of players in the past

You are spot on.
I've managed to retain my positivity but for some reason, some fans want us all to be miserable.
I don't understand why.
Last season we were all saying the kids should get their chance like they did at Sunderland. Well that's what this manager is doing and it's still wrong apparently.

The voice of reason. Both will play Saturday.

You've noticed that too . Some moan about the debt then moan when we try and balance the books ,

The people calling for us to sign experienced players are the same people who were saying we should give the youngsters a chance just last season. I've said it before & I'll say it again, let's wait the 10-12 games in before we start throwing our toys out of our prams.

It's obvious our squad is way too small. Even with everyone fit, we badly need to add some experience. Look at Port Vale away and look at the way we fell apart after giving yet another soft goal away home to Swindon. Our young squad needs guidance to grow and improve, both on and off the pitch.
It's clear our defence drastically needs improving. I think Kpakio and NG are adequate enough for right back, but we really need a minimum of 2 new centre backs and another left back to compete with Bagan. At least one of the centre backs needs to be an experienced, powerful, commanding leader, to deal with long balls forwards, physical strikers and crosses/set pieces.
Our midfield also needs added experience, we need a real general to grab the game by the scruff of the neck like a Gunnarsson or Kavanagh. Wintle is fine at home, but struggles away if he gets no help. I just think we lack experience and mobility in the middle and we have too many ordinary players, who are fine when we are on top given time to play the ball around nicely, but can't turn things around if the game turns into a scrap and we're second best; so added experience is important.
Another winger is needed too down the left. If we had O'Dowda down the left instead of Willock at Port Vale, it would have made a massive difference.
So that's 5 signings I think we should make and that's not me being unrealistic or greedy with all the players we have already let go.
If we make those signings, I think we can get into the playoffs and challenge for the automatics.
If we don't make these signings, we will finish no better than mid table, with our injuries and lack of depth taking its toll as the season goes on. Some of our youngsters will be overplayed with knocks and injuries on poor pitches, in difficult, winter conditions.
It will be up to Tan if he wants to give BBM the help and extra players he needs, or put leave him struggle with what we have, which will be an impossible task.

Let's be honest here - the start to the season results wise - we are unbeaten and long may it continue -
But we are going to pick up knocks to players and this squad has to be added to in the next 2 weeks .

I’m with you on that. Premier League squads are wrapping up their final slots this week, and the loan deals should start rolling in next week. But let’s be honest, a few will drag until deadline day, and who we get could make or break our season.

I know you're joking, but Centre half is the one position where the players are usually at their best at a much older age, often at their best very late twenties, that is a position where I would prefer an older signing to help and work with Lawlor and Fish.
