“ ON A POSITIVE NOTE “

Thu Aug 14, 2025 1:42 pm

THE MORE I THINK ABOUT IT THE MORE I STAND BY THIS:

“CARDIFF CITY ARE IN THE 3RD TIER OF THE LEAGUE / WE SHOULD BE ACCEPTING NOTHING LESS THAN AUTOMATIC PROMOTION AND THATS WHAT 99% OF US FANS SAID AND DEMANDED WHEN WE GOT RELEGATED.”

“I STAND BY IT / WE ARE UP AGAINST 90% OF CLUBS WHO SHOULD NOT BE ENEN TO COMPETE WITH US.”

ON A POSITIVE NOT / I END BY SAYING:

“MAY 2026 CARDIFF CITY PROMOTED / NOTHING LESS.”

I totally agree. It was a difficult and painful season last one. We are a one club city and capital city and should be playing minimum championship football.

No disrespect to the likes of Stevenage but how the hell as it got to us playing them this season. Absolutely shocking.

Yes we want promotion back to the championship ASAP.

Mike,

This season we are mainly up against the likes of Stevenage, Port Vale , Wimbledon, Lincoln, Peterborough ,Orient , Wycombe etc etc

I expect and so should everyone NOTHING LESS THAN PROMOTION THIS SEASON :bluebird: :bluebird:

Plenty to be positive about.

Four points from two games, in the next round of the cup and our young players are getting a chance.

You don't have to look hard to find positives.

It's a false positive with the "nothing else"

Our squad is good enough to go up and along as the players buy in to bbm then we will

Ned,

I expect nothing but 3pts on Saturday v Rotherham

Then I think i will relax more.

4pts then from Wimbledon and Luton away

I was hoping for 10 points from our opening 4, games so a win Saturday and Tuesday and it's job done, throw in the cup win and compared to last season it's chalk and cheese at the moment and lots to be positive about moving forward

3 or 4 new players in before the end of the month would be the icing on the cake

I think you’re right that’s what we are all expecting.

Nothing wrong with wishful thinking.
I expect Man U. Fans felt the same at the start of last season.
Seriously though, we'd all love three points tomorrow to get us up in the top six early season.

We will need strong home form, and that's where us as fans can make a difference.

Turn up in numbers and get behind the team from the beginning until the end. No quiet spells because we haven't gone 1 up after 10 minutes.

Away games will be tough, the smaller teams in the league will fancy it and their fans will be right behind them. It's important we are picking up a lot of home wins
