Good news: Sheffield Wednesday are no longer under any embar

Sheffield Wednesday are no longer under any embargoes after they settled their outstanding debts to players, staff and other clubs.

They are, however, under a fee restriction until the end of the 2026/27 winter transfer window and can’t pay a transfer or loan fee for any player until after that point.

Think they got some money from the EFL this week (just the standard fees the EFL give clubs) so they used that to pay the other clubs they owe money and wages.

Unless they get sold though, it's difficult to see them completing the season.

Yes was their solidarity payment but who can they sign with no fees involved? Only putting off the unavoidable later on season unless he sells but not sure he will as he's asking the impossible around £100m for club!

You should look at value of a championship club Wrexham with what's been happening rated ,£200m watford owner wanted £170m tan is not deluded he's a Businessman who made money on taking risks that paid off! Sheff is low because of investment needed I'm ground and team you tell me what would a new owner need to invest in city? Basically nothing got it all training facilities new on way top class academy house of sports ect ect all theses things add to clubs value to price
