I hoped this would be a new start for him.
But that's was dreadful.
So many times he had the chance to put in a delivery and every time he got it wrong.
Poor.

Poor
In the right place but with the wrong ball
So many times he had the chance to put in a delivery and every time he got it wrong.

In fairness he should have had an assist, great corner.

Let’s talk about tanner’s performance he was woeful worse than Willock

Yes he was awful tonight, overhit every pass and cross

Bagan has been written off by 5 managers.
Clearly the worse player on the pitch
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:02 pm
He’s dropped himself after that, Issac should’ve been brought on after 50 mins.
Wasn’t a great performance from anyone but we kept a clean sheet and taken a point away from home.
I’ll take it after being on the back foot for most of the game.
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:05 pm
BBM should have taken him off for Davies at half time. He has to take the blame for leaving him on the pitch.
The whole team had a bad game, apart from trott.
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:06 pm
If I could have bought no one on to replace Tanner or Willock, I would have. Both offered absolutely nothing.
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:09 pm
Tanner and willock shocking. Thought bagan was decent tbh
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:09 pm
Pillock he should be called

Nowhere near the worst

We need to get used to games like this as they physically done us and they should have won, I think we were lucky to keep a clean sheet to be honest.
Not a willock fan and did not understand why he came in but disapointed in Tanner tonight he had a great game saturday gets a new contract and played poor tonight however he was not alone
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:14 pm
With respect, there is not much point trying to scapegoat Willock. His delivery was poor but at least he tried to go forward. He wasn’t much good but after tonight you could just as easily create a thread with the surnames of
Chambers
Colwill R
Wintle
Tanner etc….
And ask why they were on the pitch and how terrible were they all.
Or even our great option from the bench…
Robinson - a trot around and one touch (that I can recall) a misplaced pass from about 5 yards. Not a hard shift for the money (Please sell).
All in all today was a REALITY CHECK and the POSITIVES are
1/ We got a very lucky point, and HOPEFULLY,
2/ it underlines that we need to BUY a few new playets. And we may invest a bit.Had we won it would have papered over the cracks.

Tanner was also poor, I agree.
Then again, most of the team were.
I singled out Willock because he had the ball out wide countless times but wasted it.

By far the worst performance from tanner and willock. Both absolutely shocking
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:29 pm
Was amazed he stayed on the pitch as long as he did.
Cannot understand why he gets selected.
I don't care if he's a cross between Messi and Ronaldo in training the fact is he has been complete and utter shite every time he's played in the first team.
I'm sorry but you have to question the manager's judgment in first of all picking him to start the game and secondly leaving him on the pitch for as long as he did.
Was like playing with ten players - actually nine if you consider how often Tanner passed the ball to the opposition.

Very poor performance all round but willock and tanner were head and shoulders the worst 2 players on that pitch .
Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:43 pm
Everyone can have a bad game but has Willock, Chambers, Tanner, Rubin, wintle, Robinson got used to losing a bit too much ?
We waited for them to come back fighting in the Championship- but they never did

tonight only shows we lack depth at left back and we are crying out for left wing and a physical cb. Fish did bring a bit more physical side of the game but we were getting bullied and couldn't get hold of second ball. Good job we have 9 days till next league game.

I think we have 4 decent cb’s but I think one of daland or Fish has to play, chambers and Lawlor together will get outmuscled.
We definitely need competition at LB, another winger and ideally a powerful 6 who can pick a pass.

needed a left back for years i think block 116 hears my frustration we haven't had competition there

Been bad since we signed him .
He must look brilliant in training??
Thu Aug 07, 2025 10:58 pm
Effort was there cant fault it, just wasn't coming off
Thu Aug 07, 2025 11:42 pm
Shocked he got 90 mins
Thu Aug 07, 2025 11:54 pm
He’s really frustrating to watch. It’s a shame as I was hopeful he would be better at this level. The only good thing from tonight he wasn’t on his own, most of the team was terrible and Tanner was matching him in everything he done. Hopefully we won’t have many games like that, and the likes of Willock will prove me wrong.

If you watch Willock closely he looks like a guy whose confidence is gone completely. I’ve never been convinced he’s a wide player, but he is pulling out of tackles and not competing for the ball against defenders.. his tracking back is pretty much non existent and his press is poor too.
There was a long switch pass to his wing where he basically just stopped and let the defender win it uncontested. I know he’s not great in the air but at least make it difficult for the defender to take it down rather than just leaving him unopposed.
We desperately need a wide player with pace who can be a goal threat as we need our wide players to chip in with 10 plus goals this year if we are going to be successful

Release ASAP
Fri Aug 08, 2025 9:14 am
People saying about final ball which is stating the obvious ..... but nobody mentions he had to be in right place to be able to put crosses in? But he was not only one failing to cross ball last minute for example free kick want it to be in dangerous area but no straight to keeper indicicative of every player last night corners even throw-ins were poor... bit harsh to single him out when whole team couldn't cross their fingers if tried...
