BBM said after Saturday that Turner was the clear pick for that game with Alnwick as the sub, Horvath just not selected.

So tonight Trott is the pick to start with Turner as the sub.

I expect Horvath to leave but Alnwick will be staying.

I feel bad for Turner being dropped but BBM has probably spoken to young Turner & explained to him the whys etc. He's still young & there's plenty of time for him.

Totally agree. It was also really brave of BBM picking Turner on Saturday anyway. If Hovarth had played well and then was dropped for the new keeper no one would have sn issue. Turner will play all the cup games.

BBM picks the team based on training, so my guess is that Trott has really impressed him behind the scenes!

Big test for Lawlor tonight, he’ll be under a lot of pressure against a newly promoted side playing their first home game of the season. I reckon they'll go much more direct than we faced on Saturday.

A little surprised Willock got the nod on the left ahead of Robinson, Davies and Ashford, but I guess he must be putting the effort in during training to impress the gaffer.
