£29 and £31 for third tier football is ridiculous.

Shameful. Killing football.

So it looks like if you haven’t got a Port Vale ticket you will be not able to get tickets for Wimbledon or Luton games due to the small away ends

Bonkers that people who may have done all the aways last season but not Port Vale this season will miss out. And it'll likely have a knock on effect as games like Stockport will presumably rely on games from this season by that point.

Spot on, there's no way am I paying that for third tier football, absolutely disgraceful pricing. Bad enough paying the Leeds pricing and Sheffield Wednesday (that's worked out well for them) but £29 to watch Wimbledon ffs and even worse £31 for Lutons shitehole is unreal.

I suppose the old saying "Twenty is Plenty" is no longer relevant, to watch Bayern play in Bundesliga is £14 and £18 for a Champions League game :bluebird:

I think your reading that wrong. You don't have to have been to Port Vale to get a ticket. Its just included in the number of games you could of gone too in order to get to the required number. Villa not included though. I'd like to go to Wimbledon but cant see me getting a ticket.

Not what the ticket office has told people who have asked, their saying port vale is a must from what it looks like. I guess we'll see tomorrow morning!

I think you have to have gone to four aways last season plus Port Vale this season to get a ticket.

OK. Seems unfair that you have to have been to a specific game to qualify, not that I was qualifying in any event. Good that they're over subscribed again though. Tangible feel good about the place and that's with just the mere possibility of a change of ownership. Anyway providing I get my Kazak ticket today I'll be happy. Still like to go to Wimbledon though.

There’s usually an ‘number of away games attended’ criteria for away tickets. This is to allow the ‘regulars’ first ‘dibs’ on upcoming matches

It’s something I agree with, even though I occasionally miss out on certain away games. We have a hard core of supporters, who are consistent in their travelling, and IMHO they deserve priority when the tickets first come out :ayatollah:

I agree Chris, but why include Port Vale in it?

Would have been much fairer to keep it at 4/5 aways from last season.

The issue here is that a decent number of that hardcore following are being shafted because of the requirement of port vale. Done 23 aways last year but not doing Port Vale? Though! To me thats the opposite of rewarding loyalty.

Looks like the club have listed and are offering Luton tickets for those who did 11 aways (or 13 for non season ticket holders) on Monday.

I'll still miss out (on 9 for last year), and this makes it less likely it'll get to general sale on Wednesday, but glad those who did the leg work last year won't miss out. Never seen such high numbers needed for an away trip mind you!
