Darko Gyabi

Apparently the midfielder we are after.

I hope not, not saying the player isn't good enough or anything
just he's a central midfielder and we are already overloaded in that area

Re: Darko Gyabi

This was mentioned on here yesterday.

I'd be surprised, he's too good for this level. Championship clubs are after him. Did well in a poor Plymouth team last season.

Would be a fantastic signing because he'd play as a six and be a better option than other players we have in that position.

But I struggle to see why he'd join us ahead of Championship clubs, even though he did work with BBM at Man City.

Sure BBM worked with him at Man City

Might have to backtrack on this because a lot of people seem to think he's signing

I think it would be a great signing, considering Championship clubs want him and he looked good for Plymouth last season.

Would be a permanent transfer apparently.

Would be a great signing, I heard about it yesterday morning but like you I thought no chance he's way to good for league 1 but if we can pull this off I'd be delighted,

2 million for a 21 year old who played 41 games in the championship last season is pretty decent

I would say if he does sign it would mean either turnbull or Robertson would be leaving

Ned sometimes it's better to go to a club like ours we'll now anyway ..than to a struggling mid championship club his development will be enhanced coming here that's for sure..

Birmingham were siging players far better in this league last season, I think he could fancy it for a season.

Where’s this rumour coming from?

I don’t have Twitter and can’t see that it’s reported in news outlets so struggling to see any information on it .

Birmingham were paying 8m for a player so not relevant ..if its permanent as its been stated it's more than a season... :laughing6:

I really like this if it's true. Another significant signing that fits in with the clubs current direction and he also comes with Championship experience. I hope it doesn't mean we'll be selling Robertson but if he doesn't want to be here then at least we've got a replacement in first.

Backtracking on this. A Leeds fan said he was joining us but it seems only said that because of the rumours from our side.

Does seem to be something in it though.

If you believe the rumors it's the fee causing the delay Leeds want 3 mill we want to pay a bit less

It's hard to know what's true and what's made up so I take everything with a pinch of salt

But he would be a cracking signing

Is it possible that literally all of these rumours about Gyabi is due to a YouTube video suggesting he would fit our style?

Can’t see a single link to a legitimate source about this

Inside Clubs account on Twitter has ruled it out.

He hasn’t been wrong with our transfers so far.

Thanks, that clears that up :thumbright:

We are close to one other signing as well as Trott and it's strange for there to be no news on who it is.
