It's working for them though, whatever the reason. They're in the Championship and we're in League 1, two clubs one run with passionate owners who put their money where their mouth is and then there's our shambolic owner.

You are spot on there moody. There are many envious of Wrexham who deny it, for what reason I don’t know they the perfect example of what we want as a a club.

Apart from that professional footballer signs for club for his own personal gain. Wow breaking news I thought everyone signed for us because we a good club and they always loved us and getting paid was just a bonus. lol.

I use the mobile version and on page one there’s 3.7% of threads about Wrexham.

I’d hardly say an obsession.
But there’s definitely signs of jealous posters. I’m envious on them because they’re doing everything right and what we would love to have. No harm at all that I can see.

I dont think anyone gives a toss about Wrexham, be interesting to see how they do this season but I don’t think they’ll do much, just about stay up I’d imagine..seems like yesterday we went up with Warnock and I couldn’t even tell you what league they were in….with about 1500 watching them.

I get the American angle & agree with what you said about them not understanding promotion/relegation but why on earth would it be a circus because of an ex footballer ? No matter how good he was. He's just the face of the consortium I would think.

I didn't miss anything. My point is that you said it was because of the Americans (which is fair enough) in previous weeks but now "part" of it is because Bale would make it a circus, which I don't agree with. It might be called "Garth Bale's Cardiff City" if it happened but that's a very big if in most peoples opinion & if what you say about the amount they offered is correct.

We weren’t far of that years 25 - 30 years ago. Our journeys are very similar.

We’re a circus at the money they are really well run.

I agree, I don’t see how they’re a circus.

They started in the right way from day one
The owners stated they didn’t know anything about football so brought the right people in who did.

They invested and marketed their club superbly so much so a huge majority of American ‘soccer’ fans know who they are.
And attracted big investments from outsiders.

They’re enthusiastic and attend and watch games.

Does that remind you of another club closer to home?
