" Kion Etete leaves on loan "

Centre forward Kion Etete has joined Rotherham United on loan for the 2025/26 season.

He linked up with the Bluebirds in 2022, and has made 63 appearances, scoring nine times so far.

We'd like to wish Kion all the very best while away from Cardiff City Stadium.

I'm amazed that another League One club would take him, especially after he had a terrible time at Bolton.

Glad he's not part of our squad anymore.

When my partner said about Tottenham I was thinking Tanner and then Wikipedia’d our whole squad. Completely forgot about him being at Tottenham.

Doesnt it reflect more on the manager and his team more than anyone else ,he is only 23 , he was with Spurs for 3 years didnt they align a sell on clause hence the contact renewal its edging ones bet s. Bet he looks decent in training or we dont play to his strengths.

He did say he would be moving on loan and also that he is excited about the takeover, he was gutted Des Buckingham didn’t get the job and that he has been to Tan’s house.

He's just the latest in a long line of strikers we've managed to turn into total donkeys, but he won't start scoring until he has totally left us.

I think some of the comments are very harsh. I could never criticise his effort and he did contribute. Unfortunately, he had a few injuries, which halted his development.

If you look at what Mark Harris did for Oxford at League 1, it's possible Etete can do alright at this level. It will be interesting to see how he does at Rotherham.

He wasn't going to play regularly here, so it's a chance for him to hopefully play regular games and show what he can do with a consistent run.

We played to his strengths last season...we were shite too

Wild that he’s still playing L1 football. Welsh league footballer at best.
