Can’t remember going into a season having no idea what’s going to happen as much as this one. 3 days away now, and probably the best attacking players in the division, but a bunch of (albeit talented) kids in defence. How does that pan out ??

Good question.
There will probably be a few times we'll blow teams away with our attacking prowess (unless Salech and/or Robinson are sold or injured as we have no cover for either)
There will be a few times our youngsters will be bullied by savvy League 1 teams which they struggle to cope with.
There will be plenty of times our defence (if it stays the same) will give away cheap goals like they did last season.
It's never dull following the City that's for certain!

With you on this Pre season was ok but nothing special even thou we were undefeated. The issue is i knew nothing about the players in the sides who played against us apart from QPR ( first 30 mins we were very good thou) The other teams were all lower division sides and we looked exposed once any experience went from the team
We do have some good youngster coming through and It will be good to see them when there is something on the game. I really don’t know what to expect

Can't remember a season with a day to go when we have not signed a player or on loan before the season starts

You would normally say you pack the experience in the defence so like you said there's definitely some unknown.
Although maybe not natural leaders there's still a fair amount of games in WF, CC & JB. You've also got NG to come back in and I'd be shocked if another defender isn't on BBM shopping list.
One thing for sure it's going to be exciting to watch.
