Dean Saunders (Ex Cardiff City Player)

I nearly fell out of my car this morning. Dean Saunders was on talksport with Alan Brazil, and he mentioned the time he went from Swansea to Cardiff on loan in 1985, for 4 games.

We were a division higher at the time.

I did not know this! No goals in his 4 appearances.

Did you know this?

Yes. Played four consecutive games for City; March 30th 1985, Man City (A), Oxford (H), Shrewsbury (A), Blackburn Rovers (H).
We were later relegated that season.

He’s right!  :occasion5:

Neil Warnock was on there yesterday and said he sees Cardiff being promoted back to the Championship with Plymouth; but he was sceptical of Luton’s chances :ayatollah:

Seem to recall him scoring two for Jacks at vetch after we led 2-1 and lost 3-2!
