Tanatswa Nyakuhwa
The Welsh winger has featured prominently under Barry-Murphy during pre-season, and it's clear to see why. He’s an exciting, technically gifted player with excellent dribbling ability and significant potential.
Interest in the near 20 year old emerged back in January, but Cardiff managed to keep hold of him, and he was handed his senior debut in the Championship clash against Norwich City on the final day of a disastrous 2024/25 campaign.
The club are understood to be targeting reinforcements out wide, while Nyakuhwa already faces stiff competition from Cian Ashford, Ollie Tanner, Davies ( injury prone ) and Chris Willock in his position.
With his 20th birthday fast approaching, Nyakuhwa now finds himself at a crucial stage in his development.
Could be sent out on loan.
Another one nearly 20 yrs old, should be good enough for Division 3.
Now he should shine.

We don’t need to send our youngsters out for experience! They can gain experience with us! If they’re not good enough for league one then there’s no point keeping them.

Precisely. If we have the championship squad that most think we have, this is the level we'd send them to.

Impressed by him, can be a fringe player.

Lots of good flashes in preseason.
Definitely worth having around as he may grow during the season and move up the pecking order.
And you never know with injury spells from the likes of Davies.
