Gareth Bale :

"It's exciting news, we have a brand new offer on the table, it's recently just gone in. We think it's a great offer, one that we're very happy with.”


Bale is confident he will secure a deal to buy his home town club.


"We think it's very fair, if not more than fair, and it's something we hope the current owners will take serious. We'd love them to accept so we can take full control and get on with what we want to do and create Cardiff into a club that we know it can be."


Gareth Bale remains confident that a deal could get done in the future.

It comes as Cardiff get set to kick off their League One campaign on Saturday. They welcome Peterborough United in an early kick-off.

But Media Wales have put the whole story out again today.

And I never read that before he was confident of eventually further down the line a deal could be done.

My position has always been clear, Bale would be my last choice (apart from Tan obviously).

He's just the front man and I don't trust the people in the background, could be just as bad as it is now.

I think we should all prioritise supporting the team on Saturday against Peterborough. There will either be a takeover or not. All the rumours and speculation is distracting and nobody on this forum or any other message board knows for sure what is happening. I for one will just wait and see what if anything comes of it. I just hope that the manager and team will be focused on the game on Saturday and we can all play our part in cheering them on.
