A forum for all things Cardiff City

Gareth Bale has refused to comment on the potential plan to buy Cardiff City.
The 36-year-old is involved with a consortium aiming to own his home club. The Welsh footballing legend made an appearance at the AIG Women's Open, which was being held in Royal Porthcawl - not far from his birthplace of Cardiff.
Bale spends a lot of his time on the fairways, but his retirement plans may soon be taken up by the ownership of the Bluebirds. Despite a "brand new offer" being made by Bale and his consortium earlier this month, the former Real Madrid star declined to make any comment when speaking to BBC Sport Wales at the golfing event.
Tan was fuming Bale went public.

That is an interesting development? Not saying it means anything regarding takeover but obviously learnt a lesson or been told not yo say anything! But like you ned not keen on his consortium whilst no doubting his regards for city he will have absolutely no say in what consortium do with club... at least with otto we know his pedigree regarding running football club in UK and they've got money behind them.

Why is Tan "furious" that Bale went public?
No details of the offer have ever been officially made public as far as I'm aware, certainly not by Bale so why should the dictator get his panties in a twist simply because Bale has revealed an interest in buying the club?
Does he think that when he turns down the bid from a consortium led by a Welsh football legend and local Cardiff lad it will make him even more unpopular than he already is then I'm afraid that ship has already sailed Vincent.
Apart from the clown at Sheffield Wednesday there can surely be no owner who is as inept and disliked by the fan base as the dictator.
