Nasty.
Really poor challenge by Norwood.
If this is a bad injury, Robertson unlikely to be going anywhere.

Disgusting challenge.
There was several times challenges were flying in like that.
It’s a pre-season friendly ffs. Thought some of it was really naughty!

Well if that's case won't be playing 11 players every game?

Unfortunately also expect some very suspect refereeing.

I think BBM should insist on all the players wearing shin pads or we will have a few more players getting nasty injuries, some might not like wearing them like Rubin Colwill, but if it prevents injuries like Robertson's yesterday it would be best. In fairness to Robertson he does wear them and he was caught from the side, but there are a few that have their socks rolled dpwn

As far as I am aware Shin Pads are a Compulsory item of equipment for any player entering the field of play.

Trouble is Paul theres no standard regarding size ? Plus Robertson injury is outside area of pads in fact it could be that the studs slipped off pad and caused stud to catch open leg... but nasty tackle all same....

This injury to Robertson is another reminder that this squad needs adding to - Hope the lad will be back soon .

Agreed; Jack Grealish is a classic example of a player who shows too much shin; and I often cringe at Ollie Tanner doing similar. For me, it makes them targets for a certain type of player; and there will be plenty of ‘
wannabe but can’t quite make it’ thugs in League One
