I had this text this morning Wez:

Annis I have become aware that the consortium have not flying over this week but not to worry. Explanation given to me was ‘timing’ and that all is still on track :thumbright:

As I said to you earlier, I am selling a property in Newport, so far 3months, hoping to complete now on the property middle of August and that’s just small property.

I am confused we go from they will be over for 5 days which must have been planned and not plucked out of the air For a deal that is maybe close to £100m and then it is down to timings that it did not fit
We are talking over a major deal here

So you've never planned something and have those plans disrupted by something out of your control? Just because it's £100m deal doesn't mean things go as planned! And don't forget these are big businessmen juggling several buisnesses at same time... frustrating maybe but don't you suspect if there was a problem of it not going ahead we would hear about it? No news is good news in his case. :P

You've been banging that drum for a while with nothing to back it up.

Everything else points to the opposite.

Just my feeling that’s all, allowed an opinion in I?just maybe I’m a little inpatient and I know these deals take months and stuff but I just hope tans not being a stubborn b*stard that’s all, because that’s all I want is a new ownership and the club hopefully to go back to being all as one and my the club feeling like Cardiff again

I don’t think you’ve ever been involved in any sales or buying of businesses.

Things change, more questions come up, more details needed etc etc etc

Even in normal life appointments things change, don’t they ??

And don’t forget they are dealing with Vincent Tan.

The ball is in his court.

In my working life yes i have been involved with the acquisition'so of numerous companies Including being bought out by Swiss life in a deal worth near billion for AWD
Things do change, but rarely have I seen deals that have planned 5 day schedule are changed at this short notice. If you have planned to be around for up to 5 days , plenty of planning has had to go into it to get the right people in the same place at the same time. Things generally change if things have changed in other aspects of the deal.

For me it not a great sign that the deal is progressing as smoothly as one would like. However no one has ever said this would be smooth
I am not doubting the potential takeover and hope it goes through sooner rather than later.
