And a likely team we will see this season.

Here is the side against West Brom in our last home game (0-0)

Interestingly, almost a new back four which could gain experience and improve as the season goes on.

Midfield looks more balanced and good to see Colwill like a potential new signing in the middle as an 8.

Davies adds a bit extra in our wide options.

Will be interesting to see who starts at CB, Daland remains a bench player? Chambers starts or provides cover at different positions?

Seeing this, I’m not too worried with the lack of signings. I’d say more wide options, another option at 6 and could really help us.

Chambers and Lawlor worked well together but I think Fish will partner Lawlor when he's fit, barring a CB signing.

Turnbull, Wintle and Rubin are working well as a trio.

We do need someone else out wide. Likely a loan I'd say.

But like you, I feel there's the basis of a good squad at this level.

Agree. I have winger, and a 6, maybe one more CB/LB

Have to disagree about chambers. Got me he is number one to start....way to good for league one level. I think he played defensive midfield really well last year so would like that again. This allows fish and lawlor to develop with Chambers experience to mop up and support.

I agree.

Happy for him to start at CB. Him and Lawlor could work very well together, also have to see who really is better between Chambers and Fish.

I think I prefer Wintle at 6, and another signing to rotate or upgrade. Chambers was good in a double pivot and may get time there if BBM opts for a 4-2-3-1, but as a sole 6, not for me.

I agree, can't see Chambers being able to do what's required in a 433 midfield.

Like I said, has done well with Lawlor in pre-season at the back.

No way has Wintle got the legs or intensity for 433 at 6.

I'd love us to recruit there with someone who also has strong leadership skills.
