Just went down the stadium to buy the new shirt. On the way out 3 police outriders overtook me and stopped the traffic in Leckwith road. Then another 3 came out escorting a grey car with lights flashing

It could have been a police training exercise, as they frequently use selected locations to practice and keep up their skills
I witnessed a 3-car ‘box’ on the M4 a few months ago and thought it was real, until I was told it was an exercise for their traffic officers

If that was around lunchtime yesterday, 3 grey unmarked cars with blues and twos going, passed me at the Pontprennau M4 junction. Going at a fair pace, too.
