It has been suggested that Gary Otto is the front man behind the bid for CCFC and that his family are multi billionaires.

Not much digging is really needed but, as its not already been posted, I might as well post this

Theres 2 other parties involved apparently ...... so whilst no reason to get carried away with that sort of backing it does mean we can build a long term plan and have the nessasary funds to implement it... I am confident they are the real deal regarding our future.

They are worth £16billion - so if there is two on top of that then we are really looking forward to some exciting times.

Yes Paul there is two others outside of Gary otto and family who apparently are worth far more than them.... you suspect we will be debt free but unfortunately not in a better playing situation .... interesting times ahead if they get it right at club which I think they will particularly with his knowledge of efl and football in general

But meant can't remember any efl club being taken over with such wealth behind it if Inc the others...... obviously it as to happen 1st then we'll get an idea of what is what and who the other backers are that's if they reveal identify that's not a given either... like say interesting times ahead but exciting with it.

As per lot of posters you didn't understand neds point ... bales consortium may be a typical usa takeover! Bale will have no say in way the consortium operates hes just a poster boy.....I'm with ned on his viewpoint and going on what's reported about poor offer he as a point ..... Gary otto and friends may be American but otto as history of doing right thing for football club (SUTTON) and is better choice to take city forward... other group no idea as know nothing about them...
