LETS MAKE CARDIFF CITY STADIUM A FORTRESS ONCE AGAIN

Sun Jul 20, 2025 3:45 pm

If Tan has finally gone or at least on the way, can all the stay at homes fans return ,
like you said you would once he has left,
can we do what Sunderland did in this division, very big attendances every home game, and frighten the sh.te out of the away team and fans.
Surely if tan has gone it's time to at last celebrate and drive our bluebirds onwards, and let's get back to where we should be, and out of this division.
We are the 12th man ,let's play our part home and away, let's have that big away following again, sell all our allocations like Leeds do ,
and let's get, or aim for getting as close as dam it, to a full stadium once again.
Onward and upwards charge.

Start by sacking Wayne Nash

They need to move the family end away from the away end. The lay out of the place ruins most matches

You may get a handful of people returning who stayed away due to Tan or the red but we certainly wouldn’t be anywhere near filling the stadium in League one.

Let’s just hope it happens and the club can start to reset and rebuild after being run down.

The feel good factor would be amazing.

I really don't mean to sound negative as I really want this to go ahead. However are we not in danger of getting a bit carried away with ourselves?

Nothing has actually been confirmed yet.

I was trying to lift all the fans and to get all involved, and as I am usually accussed of been negative,
I thought I would put a positive post up, but you have dragged it down slightly but
Hey ho
and I would counter with Sunderland filled there stadium at home in this division why not us?
There seemed to be A lot of the stay at homes fans so there should be more than a few returning,
plus we should be able to sell out aways at new stadiums etc and the feel good factor.

Pistol Pete,

Your always negative

Correct it’s not sealed the deal.

But this is the closest we’ve come to something this big in years.

And it’s all going the right way now :bluebird:

C'mon Bluebirds let's get the CCS rocking and make it a fortress, we don't want clubs to look forward to coming here, we want them to dred it.

Sorry Annis. I'm just a bit of a worrier lol.

Would love to see this happen and get our amazing club to where it belongs.

Apologies, I don't mean to question the validity of the info you post

Yes fair play to you I’m just being realistic.

We have rarely sold out not even when we were in the Prem.
Sunderland are a much bigger club than us and we’re getting around 38 - 40k in the championship I believe.

Things can only get get better :bluescarf:

I think if we were established in the prem we would start to sell out.
Our 2 times in the prem we were just getting pumped lol

Cheers richy

Really looking forward to a good following away also new grounds and feel good factor .
But yes, if all goes to plan just because we are in division 3 there is nothing stopping us having better crowds than last season when the football was dire.

I just want to celebrate with a smile on my face at the city stadium and enjoy the whole atmosphere which I have' nt done since promotion day v reading, apart from the odd good win Ipswich at home Swansea etc so buzzing at the moment.

Yes we where getting overturned in our own stadium last season with away fans shouting us down that made me very depressed it was understandable and tan was to blame with handed us omar riza as our manager in the bottom 5 all f.cking season never again should we be left in this situation and it starts against Peterborough let's give there fans a headache.

Football supporters live on hope; and at Cardiff City FC that has been in short supply for some years. Let us dream, and hope that this dream comes true! :ayatollah:

Many thanks budd

Our time has come as supporters to do what we say, and let's see what atmosphere we can create at our first home game 12.30 kick off.

Has the CCS ever been a fortress? First game in the Premier v Man City was def an incredible atmosphere but generally speaking not a patch on a fired up Ninian Park.
We need to pump up the atmosphere and that would come with a successful team playing entertaining winning football.

You’re right it’s never ever been a fortress.

Monty is wrong about that but he’s right by his intentions of building a better atmosphere and hopefully bigger attendances.

If Tan leaves then things like the above will improve initially but the only way for better atmosphere is an attractive and winning team.
I’m hopeful BBM can achieve that.

Did we win our first 10 home games on the bounce in the season when we won the Championship under Malky?
