Bid accepted for the club?

Sat Jul 19, 2025 9:36 pm

Details are vague and I can't be certain on the source.

But it appears someone has made a bid for the club that has been accepted.

I wonder which of the 3

Heard a whisper a few hours ago saying bales bid accepted

But didn't give it a second thought as all the talk has been that the saffers are the front runners

Be interesting to see if anything is revealed over the coming days

I'm not being hyper-critical but might it have been more appropriate to put a question mark after the word club ? I'm not suggesting that the OP is deliberately misleading the message board but at first glance it looks like a done deal, which may well not be the case. Either way it's jumping the gun a bit.

We won't really know until the statement, it's so easy to spread a rumour these days with social media and message boards, even word of mouth spreads like wildfire. Let's just hope this one is true, it is everywhere.

So basically you think a bid has been accepted, you have no idea from who and you’re not sure the source of this rumour is reliable

I hope it’s true but I’m not holding my breath

If the deal is done with Dalman (i've no reason to doubt it) then Tan has very few cards left to play, if he refuses to deal with the potential new owners Dalman could call in his loan.(although unsecured it's like a personel loan he has given Tan) Tan dare not pay Dalman back, his reputation would be in tatters.

Basically thats how i saw it! Tan accepted deal provisional on dalman coming to an agreement with buyers as he as there's no reason why deal wont go ahead except Tan being stupid but don't see it now.

Be nice to actually know who it is so can see who the person is dont mean money wise more as a businessman and how he operates. And in what areas of commerce.

If Sven is correct about the person who is interested buying Cardiff City has connections to Saracens Rugby Club then Dominic Silvester also fits the bill.
