Update / Bid turned down???

I have never been ITK or given messages proffessing to be so but...
I've just had info from within the club. Nothing too new but thought you'd like a read.
Salech is the strongest player that's ever been at the club over many many years.
The club have turned down a bid of nearly £9m for him.
Rangers are still 'sniffing around' Colwill.
There's definately something 'very big' going on behind the scenes at the cub atm but everyone is being told that it's 'hush hush'

You’ve always been a decent and genuine poster from what I’ve seen so I, personally, have no problem with a ‘rumour’ type of news like this.

It’s the people who claim to be in the know and put silly wink emoji’s like they know but are constantly are wrong. They’re the ones that are annoying.

If true it’s great news that the club are fighting to keep Salech and hopefully Colwill the same.

Heard it was Sheffield utd who want him, great if we've turned down a bid of that amount let's hope we stay strong if they come back in with a bigger offer

I heard it on a pod cast someone said it was a bid of 8.7 mil, I didn't really pay much attention as you hear about 10 different rumours a day but maybe that one had some truth to it

If turned down such a bid it would tie in with what I've said previously that Tan wont sell because takeover is close and buyers will not be happy if sell millions of player assets...

I'm going for it never actually happened & no bid of that amount has ever been received from Sheff Utd.

Good spot. That’s a LOT of money and it suggests the incoming group(s) have asked for Salech to remain. Tan would sell him for half of that without blinking!

If you’re in the process of selling your club can you sell off pieces of it?Surely once you make a bid that’s for everything.

Well it's still your club so you can do what the hell you like until you've accepted an offer & it's contingent on you not selling any of the assets.

Not sure we can sell anyone whilst due diligence during a sale is being done without agreement

I was just answering the question from "the claw" but hopefully they are at the stage where nothing moves. But he can still do what he wants while it's his club if he really wants to be as much of a cnut that he's been the last few years.
