The biggest positive for me this pre season is it's the beginning of the end for Tan.
Whether it's weeks or months the end is nigh and that's when the club can finally move forward.
I'm not surprised by the lack of signings, Tan won't want to leave us in a healthy position in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he's trying to flog any player that can bring in decent money he's that spiteful.
Hopefully we get to the start of the season we a half decent team that can stay in contention for promotion come January when the new owners should be fully in charge and then we'll finally see change.
The point being we all know that the club was going nowhere under Tan but the light is at the end of the tunnel now.
I don't agree with people saying we have enough with the current squad for promotion, my view playoffs at best as other teams have a head start in terms of recruitment this pre season.
I was against the new manager to start with as I thought this might be the case that we would be putting our faith in youngsters this season and I don't believe alot of our youngsters are good enough.
However having listened to BBM interviews and the way he speaks about the game it's the first manager in a long time that has a clear identity of how he wants to play.
Talk is cheap of course but if he can implement a style and philosophy onto the playing field it becomes a revolving door so players coming in know exactly what their role is in the team.
I understand fans frustration in the lack of signings but finally the club is moving in the right direction off the pitch.
BBM objective now is to make sure we're still in contention for promotion come January and then he can build his own team I don't believe the takeover will happen before the summer window closes.
Things might and probably will get worse before they get better but I believe we are close to getting our club back.
