Thanks :bluebird: :bluebird:

I enjoyed watching that :thumbright:

Our defending under Purse v Non League was Diabolical.

But a very good comeback :bluebird:

Our left back had a horrid time, from the highlights looks like he struggled to step up to the physicality.

Good comeback and all our goals was some decent football being played rather than scrappy

great comeback from the boys left back had a bit of a nightmare though

Thanks for posting that.

Agree with others, defending was very weak from us going by those highlights.

Good comeback though.

But it's good for them to have these friendlies against a senior team, because it shows how far some are away from first team football at any level in the EFL - especially as Yeovil aren't even an EFL team anymore.

Very biased highlights from Yeovil especially the second half. We were the better side after about 55 mins and created a lot of chances from quick attacking moves. They struggled to deal with our pace which is something I haven't said about Cardiff City for a long time :laughing5:

I enjoyed the game, some positives to take from it and many things to learn too. A good game for the youngsters.

Scrap this under 21 shit I say you could see it was men Vs boys at times. Although we took our chances otherwise they could have nailed us in truth should they have taken all there's.

A pontins reserves league like years ago is what they should bring back it was first teamers subs or seat warmers from the stands and players coming back from injury. I can assure you some 19 year old of ours will get more from marking a 32 year old div 1 or 2 striker who's been about some good years coming back from injury playing a mens reserve game for his club over some to bit u21 same age player so you'll get less seasoned professionals.

If your good enough your in if not your out how it worked not having 20 under 21 players who we might get one from in two seasons time, plus it costs a bomb surely for the whole set up. Rather that money go in to the first team in truth but just my opinion. :bluescarf:

As I said above, they were biased highlights. We had our chances and caused them a lot of problems in the second half.

It was good experience for the youngsters and will go a long way to showing who has the ability to make it and who hasn't.

Also has to be remembered that Nyakuhwa, Lawlor, Giles, Kpakio, Mafico etc all weren't there because they're first team players now.

That's a big bulk of last season's U21s.

Our under 21 beat Yeovil who are in the same division as Southend and were only 6 points behind the. last season and Purse is shit
Our First team beat Southend with a number of under 21 that have been with Purse for a number of years and we say that it is the best crop of player in a long time and Purse is still shit
Just don’t understand the logic
