I know for a fact that when Tan bought the Club ….he definitely took the position that it “does not go down well” for him to pay for the losses or debts of the previous regime .

He is now wanting the prospective buyers to pay for his mistakes and financial problems which he created .

His reasoning from all those years ago was that he wants to spend his money on taking the Club forward ….and not paying for past owners’ financial shit . Now he wants others to take over some of his financial mistakes .

Remember that he took control of CCFC - for what is relatively a lousy £6 million ……for a club that almost made it to the PL . Now he is not happy to sell the Club in the 3rd tier for £80 million …..he wants his “pound of flesh” .

I am no fan of Tan - (I can never forgive him for the red issue) but is that £80 million and Tan will write off/cover the debt to him and Dalman? If so that seems not a bad good deal for the buyers in my opinion. The club would effectively be debt free with a modern 33,000 capacity stadium and the core of a side capable of bouncing straight back to the Championship with a reasonable investment in new players. Tan will have lost a lot of money as I believe he has already converted some of his debt to equity so he will have lost all that as well.

This guy will on go on his terms - while we get sucked into this "Side Show " instead of looking at the season ahead .
