Dalman could be the hero for Cardiff City. Warnock always talked the guy up 'Best Chairman I've ever worked under' I think he said.
I understand Tan now might be playing silly buggers and moving the goalposts (as he always does), trying to be clever at the last minute.
Once free of the shackles ( Vincent Tan) could Dalman hold the ace key, do the right thing, and suddenly become the hero of the hour?

Dalman has disagreed with Tan over the running of the club for a few years now, he wants his investment to have a "future" that will only happen with new owners, that's why Dalman is in the thick of this.

Agreed, he'll want his £50Mill back though, he won't want to write any of that off, so maybe cash to him, shares in the new consortium, or a combination of both, thats why he was probably involved yesterday in those negotiations.

There are 3 aspects to this - as I see it:
1) The purchase of Tans shares
2) Tans Debt
3) Dalmans debt
It appears that items (1) + (2) are covered by the £40m plus £40m when in the EPL
That leaves Dalmans debt and a suggestion could be - allocate him 10% shares in the new company
