Cardiff fan allegedly stabbed in Spain

Sat Jul 12, 2025 5:12 pm

Quite a lot badly injured unfortunately

This has been covered in the match thread by some, but think a separate thread is needed so fans in Spain will know to take caution if they look at the forum while out there.

Seems there has been rumours that a City fan stabbed and a bartender has suffered a serious injury.

Very sad to hear if true and I hope those injured have a speedy recovery.

Reminds me of a horrific incident in 2015. A mob of Southend attacked some Cambridge fans. A Cambridge fan sustained serious head injuries and died in 2020.

Thanks for the update, hope it is bullshit.

Dropped this as a sticky as hopefully more information will come through later from those there.

Really not good and I hope all those injured make a speedy recovery

And anyone identified as using a weapon needs the book thrown at them, there's no place in football for that kind of cowardly shit

Yes it sounds like trouble before the game and also inside the ground. Southend attacked Cardiff but got more than they bargained for apparently.

As we arrived in the car park at 6.15 local time there was a man sat on the floor being treated by 3 paramedics had blood and cuts on face heard he was attacked by Southend fans that were looking for trouble but didn't t go in the ground didn't see anything else.
