Just reading about this and if true I think this would be the one player I wouldn't be to fussed over losing
He's on huge wages which could be used on bringing in a few players in positions we need to strengthen

Whilst agreeing that Chambers underperformed last season I just can't believe for a minute that any transfer fees or wages received or saved will be used to strengthen the team, especially if a sale is being considered.
Tan will use monies received from any source to cover the day to day running costs of the club rather than strengthen the team and so far (although this could change before the end of the transfer window of course) it looks like BBM has been told to go with the youngsters and anybody else who happens to be unsold at the end of the window.

If he wants to stay, I would keep him.
Big salary yes but realistically we won’t see any of that put back into the transfer kitty, but more importantly his experience will be great for what will be a young squad.
Plus, realistically, he should shine in League One.

Agree, I’d try and keep him. As said before I just can’t see any monies received (especially with talks of potentially takeover) being reinvested in the team while Tans still here

Struggled in defence at the start of the season but when he moved to midfield, he did well.
I think part of the reason he joined was that he was mates with Ramsey. The fact that he's gone now may mean Chambers goes too.
I'm unbothered by the rest of the players that have left (apart from O'Dowda) but would like to keep Chambers if possible.
The fact he's on big money could see him leave though.

I'd happily let him go, looked out of his depth at centre halve for us last season, looked better in the 6, but clearly wasn't good enough to be a 6, the amount of times players would ghost through him and our midfield was scary, Bannan did like 3 times and he couldn't even get close. huge wages, get someone better in
