Sadly We don’t have a Badge to be Proud of
Thanks to the Red Brigrade Backing the Despicable Worm.

Why Don’t The Trust / FAB Campaign for its Return / They’ve got Notjing else’s to do :bluebird:

The Fans should Demand at least The Badge with Our Bluebird, so We can all be inited and Proud again.

Sam changed our Badge with The Valley Rams in a meeting to the St David’s / Saying it Represented The Whole of Wales.

I was Fuming with Sam and told him and I never ever bought it, Sam said, “But the Fans chose it.”

When Peter Ridsdale took over the only thing he did right:
Mi had a few meetings with him and said if you want to make Our Fans Happy, please give us our badge back.

To be Fair he did with in one month:

That inspired me to write My First Book:

OUR ONCE PROUD BADGE :

This was something I checked earlier in the week.

Apparently, whilst it is difficult to change kit, mid-season apparently it is not a problem to change a clubs badge mid-season on the proviso (according to the EFL) that it carries fan support.

This is a proper badge and reflects what our club is all about and I hope it is reinstated this season - once we have new owners

The badge is just another way that Tan has shown over the years, he doesn't care about the club.

If he cared about the club, he would have changed the badge to one we all love and can be proud of again, which would have increased merch sales and income to the club.

Totally agree with Annis :ayatollah: let’s have a badge we can all be proud of! Met Peter Risdale once had a good chat with him, and what a fantastic first book you wrote as well Annis

This badge or the plain large bluebird on round white badge.

And while we are at it bring back the best kit from mid 1970’s

And best away shirt, the black and yellow one

IDENTITY! A BADGE REPRESENTS US

The badge is everything to me, though I appreciate not so much to other Cardiff City fans.

Like the badge of the eighties up until Tan (though without the shield around it and it would need modernising) I was happy with the 125 badge of last year, but I just knew it was going to be temporary, and it proved to be.

But anything other than the worm! Even with the rebrand reversal, it was just the kit, he had to leave his narcassistic traits, making it all about his beliefs, supersitions and culture of his country some 6000 miles away. So the oriental worm remained, the red seats and the huge Malaysian related advertising.

Would love the return of the yellow and white stripe/trim

I’d love our proper badge back. Isn’t that though changing the kit? As the kit would need to have the badge changed ?

Im gonna suggest a controversial opinion......

..... I quite like our current badge! Bear with me before I get stoned.

We are quite insular when we get nostalgic and many on here are nostalgic for the 80's / 90's and that is why we look for a return to the badge of that era.

There are other eras and I like the plain Bluebird in a white circle. The 80's badge is too busy.

Now we all know what is wrong with the current badge so all it needs is a Welsh Dragon and the red line changed to daffodil yellow.

I do quite like that but think it’d be better without the dragon at all on the bottom

As a kid in the 90s, that was the badge for me, with South Wales Echo as the sponsor LOL.

I do quite like the badge that WayneS has put up but I'm all for the bluebird only as well.

What is "our badge" ? The badge is the most changed thing there is & whatever badge we have not everyone is going to be happy. How we ever ended up with a black background with a yellow cross is still beyond me, and yes & I know the how but it's the "why & how" together that amazes me, the fact that anyone thought that was a good idea blows my mind every time I see it & even the "wiggly worm" as some like to call it isn't as bad as that monstrosity.

So, again I ask, what is "our" badge that I keep seeing people writing? It's different for everyone & is usually the badge that people remember us having when they started watching the team. So us oldies for the most part would choose the simple Bluebird with nothing else.

Is it wrong to say I prefered the 2009 updated badge on the white crest? Footballs, dragon and daffs just looked better.

I also dont get the obession with the 70s friday kit. It looks like leeds one and has been done to death in recent years. Would much prefer to see sonething different yet retro...even if its a white and yellow sash a la River Plate
