I do agree with Ned and Wez on this:
1. Potentially if this current CCFC Squad is kept as it is and 3 Older, Wiser, knowledgeable players of this League, including a Captain / Leader, We in My View in this 3rd Division should be Top 3 Come May 2026 / Promoted.
2. That’s providing BBM / Murphy is a good hands on Manager and his Assistant.
3. Player like Salech / Robertson / Isaak Davies / Colwill Brothers / Callum Robinson / Ashford etc etc all play to their potential will be way to good for League 1 Teams.
Tan must not get rid of any of these players:

I really think we have axgood squad for league one , we've already got the experience players in Chambers, robbinson, , R Colwill is experienced now too

Providing the squad is kept as it is now I'm confident we will be around the play off places
Hopefully we can fend off the apparent strong interest in rubin Robertson and Robinson as sell them 3 then we really will be thin on the ground
We have an attack minded coach who won't sit back on a 1 goal lead, I can see some high scoring games this season which won't leave a lot of finger nails left

Agree with you both, Annis and Wez

I don’t think we will but if we keep the squad as it is now then ye we should definitely be up there challenging to win the league. Dont care what anyone says, that squad last year should NEVER have got relegated. Totally and utterly mismanaged.

Chris.
Def this squad is way above the rest of this league.
Over to you BBM

Agree with that.
Pleased from the clips that the club have posted that it appears BBM is doing most of the coaching himself, he's definitely a hands on manager who enjoys being on the training pitch.
Other managers we've had just leave it to their assistant but in my opinion the manager has to take part himself - which BBM is doing.

Ned,
If he’s as good as he sounds and we are hoping, He will take us up.

i hope we keep them all but i am sure someone on here said 100 percent salech will be sold >?

Other than Birmingham last season, none of the teams really set the division alight.
We have a good squad and hopefully enough energy and grit in by the start of the season to cope with the more physical side of the league.
I genuinely believe that we will do well this season.
Tan selling and a promotion (automatic or through playoffs) would be a brilliant year in my view.

This squad was very poorly managed last year. Riza tinkered and never knew his best 11, utterly clueless. We were also let down by key players never being fit Ramsey, Ralls and El Ghazi. We should have stayed up and would have if Tan had changed manager. Absolutely we have a squad that can challenge with a couple of good additions. Positive? Definitely.

Over to you BBM

Luton and Plymouth will be alright this season.
Huddersfield have done really well with their early business. Leyton Orient are quietly going about their business strengthening their young squad from last year.
Wycombe, Bolton and Barnsley will also be up there.
We shouldn’t get our hopes up too much. We were really bad last year.

Neil,
I actually think that youth is the right way to go.
Far too often last year we were let down by senior pros ,who at the start of the season, should have been key players for us.
The thing with youngsters, is that they have energy, determination, grit and pace. Couple that with a no nonsense leader at the back and in central midfield and I think we have a good chance at going straight back up.

Yes Luton’s fans were shocked they went down and Plymouth are good I forgot about them two

Lots of optimism being expressed in a squad that minus the likes of Goutas, Rambo, Ralls and O'Dowda along with a couple of loan signings that have all left, which all saw us end up rock bottom of the Championship last season.
I agree that so much hinges on at least 3 very good quality replacements, including a captain. I also think we need a couple of the young element to step up immediately.
Without these in place, we could struggle to make an impression in League one.

If salech stays fit and stays he should definitely get 15-20 this year.. Rubin and Robertson should be far too good for this league, in my opinion we need another a left back, a sitting DMC who can pass and a pacey winger who is a goal threat
