Salech and robertson played (salech scored and rob assist)

Updated:

Our under 21 players. Luke Pearce scored a hat trick and Joel Colwill got two, while Rubin Colwill was described as the best player on the pitch.

City played Merthyr yesterday in BBM's first match. It was behind closed doors.

City won 13-1.

The standout players were Rubin, Kpakio and Lawlor.

A good first run out with fans able to see the team for the first time this week in Spain with the two friendlies there.

I’d be surprised if all 3 of those are starters for us.

People rave about how this is the best crop of talent coming out of the academy for years. There should be academy players in the starting 11 if that’s the case. We don’t have to wait until they are 21 or sent on loan to lower league shit to “toughen” up. If they’re good enough, they start. If they’re not good enough to start in league 1 then our academy isn’t t as good as people say it is.

They will be in the first 18 for sure. Just doubt they’ll all start straight away that’s all.

Not so sure, I think it depends on how much they prove themselves in pre-season.

Will be interesting to see how we set up against Johor and Southend, that should give an idea on who's impressed him the most.

Hoping the rumors of rangers sniffing around rubin are not true although we know Russell Martin is a big admirer

Apparently rubin has impressed bbm so far and could be a huge player for us this season

Annis, if he did go to Rangers I think he'd be a huge success up there.

Why is he playing with the youngsters and not with the rest of the first team squad?

Or am I misreading? Did our under 21s play Merthyr or was there under 21s amongst the first team squad?

That’s what I’m thinking… if he’s playing with the U21s that’s a bit odd.

I saw a few things posted around rangers are seriously interested in rubin and one person reckoned a bid had already been submitted but bbm has told the board to keep rubin at all costs

No idea how true it is but I really hope we hold on to him

In the video Cardiff uploaded Robertson assisted a Salech goal so it was a selection of players.

Wintle was also involved and so was Fish.
