" Three games moved for Sky coverage "

Thu Jul 03, 2025 11:51 am

Three of our games in Sky Bet League One have been moved for live coverage on Sky Sports.

We already knew our opening game at home to Peterborough United would be a 12.30pm kick off, live on Sky Sports.

Also moved are:

Port Vale v Cardiff City - Thursday 7th August, 8pm - Live on Sky Sports

Luton Town v Cardiff City - Saturday 23rd August, 12.30pm - Live on Sky Sports

Cardiff City v Plymouth Argyle - Saturday 30th August, 12.30pm - Live on Sky Sports

This is why a lot of people dont need to buy STs to follow City in 2025.

Why would you want to "double dip" and payn twice to see them play?

Good for club in that its extra cash, and good for people who cant make it. But tbh the amount of live red button games we get does make me wonder if i really want to get a ST again. Better off with pick and choose for when we are not on and put the saves cash towards getting the kit etc

I sort of agree but disagree

Birmingham, Bolton. Huddersfield, Bradford Fans etc don’t see it that way when they are and have been in this league , they believe in turning up and watching their clubs.

So do I .

When we were on tv in the Premier League Fans turned up beyond

Now our club needs us more than ever / Bluebirds

I totally agree with you Annis.

I'll definitely still be at the Peterborough and Plymouth home games, even though they're now 12.30pm.

Hopefully will do Vale too, depends on getting back.

But I hope fans still turn up for these early games that have been moved.

Nothing beats being at the games in person. I’ll always attend games at home if on sky .im grateful for the away games on sky as can’t do as many as I’d like .

I can understand why this may stop some but personally speaking, there's nothing like a live game.
Plus you're supporting the club, higher up pecking order for away games etc

Nothing like being in the crowd to watch a game (or any sport for that matter) when your team are doing well

Adversely, the opposite can be said during a game like we had too many of last season :ayatollah:

I can't attend matches for the time being, might buy a nowTV pass with so many matches on NowTV. I think it's £15 a month

This was due to be formally announced today but out of respect to Diogo Jota, the EFL are making no communication announcements today.

It will now be announced on Friday.

The fixtures in the OP are when the games will take place. Vale is on the Thursday.
