Jesper Daland:

"I know last year was tough and everyone's obviously sad about last season but now it's a new start. It's a new season. we're getting ready. We need your support like we had last year to make our way back up to where we really belong again."

He has many critics but personally I believe he is a very good footballer. His passing is excellent and unlike many does so with the outside of his foot. I think the physicality of the league took him by surprise but I think he will be ready this time. A full pre season will help greatly.

Let's hope our new manager can find a spare backbone from somewhere, because it was missing all last season.

I'd say his performances last season were a bit all or nothing.

He had his good games, like against Swansea away. But when he was bad, he was very bad.

So I'm still undecided. Does sound like he's staying though.

But as you say, he's a good passer so the new manager may favour him.

There’s definitely a good player in there.

We have to remember, it’s a new league etc, it takes time to get used to .

Sadly gets turned easily and is slow to react and the player passes him by,any speedy striker or winger and he's lost him.

I thought he seemed a little immature or nieve last season, although he is 25 years of age and should be approaching his peak.
I'd keep him in the squad, but he needs to prove himself during the next season against slightly less quality forwards!
